Week 16 – The Big Agency – 10th February 2017
In preparation for the tutorial I made sure to communicate
with my group as to make sure that everyone was on track and knew what needed
to be bought into class for the group work section. In today’s session, we
focused on digital marketing in 2017.
Firstly, we went through statistics and found that out of
the population of 7.395 billion, 3.419 billion are internet users, 2.307
billion are active social media users and finally 1.968 billion people are
active mobile social users (wearesocial, no date). Knowing this reinstates the fact that using
social media to reach customers is beneficial as so many people around the
world are online.
During the week, we received an email back from The Candidate, through this communication we arranged a meeting to discuss the
re-brief and to get feedback on the work already submitted. The group are
looking forward to this meeting as it will allow us to move forward on the
project, and in preparation for the meeting I looked through The Candidate’s
website to make sure I was up to date on their business and current blogs.
